1934 MG Q type special completely rebuilt in 2010 by marque specialist Andy King. A fast and fun to drive special in a stunning burgundy with tan K3 style seats. Great attention to detail was given during the restoration. Correct radiator/fuel filler caps, headlights, lucas indicators, brooklands earoscreens, jeager instruments with big tacho and rev counter, cord bound bluemel steering wheel, alloy hartford shock absorbers, stainless steel black side exhaust, bonnet strap, rear view mirrors, alloy body with louvres in all the right places and alloy Alfin drum brakes.
Engine is a supercharged Xpag bored to 1375cc with steel crankshaft and con rods, forged pistons, fast camshaft, alloy sump and rocker cover, big valve head fitted with an eaton M45 supercharger fed through a single SU carburettor. The low weight together with the supercharged engine make for seriously spirited driving with a fantastic exhaust note when the supercharger opens up. Having been completely restored almost 10 years ago the car is beginning to show a nice patina with the advantage of having only covered 4000 miles. A real head turner that attracts loads of attention everywhere it goes.
