This MGB GT is an excellent example that has been previously restored to a high standard at some point in its life.
It looks superb in Blue with its Grey leather interior and is fitted with a Moto-Lita leather steering wheel, Minilite style alloy wheels, electric windows, Kenlowe fan, stainless bumpers and a rear shock absorber conversion.
The manual gearbox has overdrive on third and fourth which is operated using a dash mounted overdrive switch.
It has only had two owners for the last 37 years since 1982.
The current MOT runs until February 2020 although it is now MOT exempt and the car will be licensed for twelve months from the date of sale for the new owner at no cost as the car qualifies for the Historic Taxation class.
The history file contains the current V5, the current MOT certificate, its Heritage Certificate and a number of previous MOT certificates.
The headline of the 2nd July 2014 edition of Classic Car Weekly reported that there was an acute shortage of good MGBs and their values will continue to rise as buyers realise what good value these cars are compared to other classic British sports cars. This is now proving to be correct.
Classic sports motoring and likely to be an excellent investment.
