Beautiful restored 1961 series 2 109 inch.
This car had a nut and bolt restoration by the Land Rover orphanage in 2006 and has done few miles since and was stored indoors.
It has a capstan winch , fairey overdrive and free wheeling hubs.
It drives extremely well and has just been serviced and recommissioned after a number of years in storage.
There is a full photographic record of the restoration .
Galvanised chassis painted black.
Quick fit age correct seatbelts fitted.
These long wheelbase 109 pick up’s are hard to find.
I have the original brown UK logbook and old Vehicle registration document.
This one started its life on lower Saltrop farm in Swindon and latterly became a tow truck for Philips car bodywork repairs in Chippenham from where it was purchased and then restored.
It then moved to Southern Ireland and is currently registered on Irish plates but it is easy to get it back onto its original UK numberplate.
