After being garaged for the winter in a secure dry garage I am selling my 1958 Standard Ten. When I bought the car last February the previous owner gave me this info. "I don't have any history. I bought it from a guy in Scotland. It has never been welded and is in very good condition. He had it resprayed (not the best job I have seen), added new carpets and the seats have been re-upholstered. It has been fully serviced including a new master cylinder and exhaust. It runs very well with no smoke and did 450 miles without missing a beat".
I fitted new brake shoes and wheel cylinders which I acquired from the Standard Car Club. The repairs were professionally completed by a local garage.
I would now like to offer the car for sale to someone who can give it the care it needs.
