1960 Ferrari 250 GT SII Pininfarina Convertible For Sale
The 2nd series of the Ferrari 250 GT Pininfarina Cabriolet was presented to the public in October 1959 at the Paris Motor Show. Compared to the first series, it has a more comfortable interior, disc brakes front and rear, telescopic shock absorbers and the engine type 128F with external spark plugs.
In 1960 this Ferrari 250 GT Cabriolet in the special color Azzurro metallizzato MM16240 was delivered by SE-FAC's Scuderia Enzo Ferrari Automobili Corsa in Rome to its first owner. In 1962 the car came to Switzerland where it changed his owner once again.
In 2008 a German collector purchased the vehicle and according to available documents he had the original engine overhauled about 5.000 km ago. Thus this true gentleman Ferrari presents itself in a very well-preserved original condition with full history. Almost as exciting as a California Spider - but at a fraction of the price!
