Surely the safest engine. Not the usual head gasket problems as with just about all other petrol engine 75's. This Rover 75 has been with the last owner for 12 years and anyone looking for what must be a future classic has found a good basis on which to build. The car drives well, steers and stops correctly. All the tyres are recent, it's been a non smokers car and with easy valeting the piped leather interior will be like new.The condition of the carpets is good and clean as the overmats have done their job. As expected there are some "warts" to discuss. The boot has signs of water ingress, there is an intermittant bulb failure light showing at start up which then goes out. The car has lived outside and there are areas of tree sap on the paintwork. The nearside doors have light scratching which will probably polish out, but there is an eight inch long light crease to the n/s/r door panel. Also a small section of the top of the n/s/f wing has a dent. All the alloys have rim edge scuffing and need a good clean, but are not "mashed" at all. There are two keys, although the remote parts are broken. The pictures shown are of the car without any preparation having been carried out with the exception of a wash. I have many more photos available and I am happy to answer any questions. The MOT expires 27/09/19. A solid Rover 75 with the best engine. What is it worth? I'm sensible, but not over generous! Be fair with your offer and you'll find me the same. Thanks for your interest.
