Probably the last Peugeot 505 STI on the road in the UK today. Automatic.
A time warp car, with just shy of 7,900 miles from new.
It was ordered new by a Berkshire farmer and, we think, laid up within a year owing to an agricultural spat between the UK and France. It still shows its original tax disc expiring on the leap year 29 Feb 1984.
Electric windows and sunroof, all working.
Immaculate blue velour interior, factory stickers still in place, even on the seat belts.
Excellent Cascade Blue exterior, with some minor blemishes.
Bought by me in 2015, my father had one when I was school age, and has been recommissioned at a cost in excess of £10,000 with Classic Performance Engineering at Bicester Heritage. New, correct Michelin TRX tyres fitted, including spare.
Still a very competent, extremely comfortable and tractable car.
