This is a very reluctant sale at a very competitive price.
This beauty was inherited from my late father in law when he died a few years ago.
We've kept it as a third (spare) car and it's not been used that much (as MOT's confirm).
A couple of years ago we drove from East Sussex to Wales fully loaded with camping gear.
It was a joy and lots of fun.
We've karted our kids and their mates all over the place (as it's got 7 seats).
We've done long runs and short runs and carried lots & lots of bags to the local tip.
The load area is vast with seats folded.
It's never let us down.
The ONLY reason we're selling is that we don't need two spare cars and we're getting a smaller manual car for our 17 year old to learn to drive in.
If he didn't need a manual we wouldn't be selling.
Dark metallic grey and black leather with nice alloys.
About as cool as it gets.
We have stacks of invoices.
Loads of them.
Mainly main agent but more recently a local "old school" mechanic.
This car has been looked after & loved.
It costs very little to insure as it's classed as a classic car, being over 25 years old.
If you're looking for one of these (and you don't want to spend the huge amount low mileage 940 SE's are now commanding) then this is well worth a look.
You can see from the photos it's very nice and very straight.
And it polishes up well and it's not rusty.
Don't expect a show car.
It's got the odd mark and scratch here and there but who cares?
The drive is very comfortable.
Like sitting in an old leather armchair.
That's because it is an old leather armchair.
The leather could do with a "feed" but it's not got holes or cracks in it.
There's a sunroof too,which is nice.
You jump in this beauty and cruise.
That said "kick down" works and it can move pretty fast when it needs to.
Don't forget it's turbocharged.
This gorgeous beast is a classic shape in a classic colour.
Much loved by antique dealers and art directors.
We'll be very sad to see it go...
