This was originally delivered into the UK home market. It is an original RHD DB6 MkI. This example was stripped down many years ago but is complete with only some of the soft interior trim items such as carpets missing - replaced during restoration anyway! Restoration has commenced with the platform being rebuilt along with new Aluminium outer bodywork, all by an ex-Newport Pagnell Aston Martin body shop tradesman. The front and rear suspension parts have been blasted and powder coated in original satin black. Mechanically the cylinder block has been rebuilt with new liners, the cylinder head casting has been rebuilt with new 'unleaded' valve seat inserts and faced ready for assembly - all work completed strictly by UK Aston specialists only. It comes with some new parts: all new wiring looms, new brake pipe kit, + various other parts. It has its original optioned chrome wire wheels with 3-eared knock-ons, 5-speed ZF gearbox with bell housing and complete engine.
Much of the hard and expensive work has been completed with the restored platform and new bodywork, making this the ideal point from which to complete your perfect DB6. At this price point it leaves huge scope to complete the restoration to your own specification.
A unique opportunity that does not come along often, price includes delivery to a UK address. Most of the component parts currently reside in Australia but delivery to a UK address is included in the price (inclusive of any and all duty/VAT etc.)
Genuine enquiries only - it would be best to call in order to discuss this project in detail. I will not sell this without the platform & bodywork being completed - please do not ask.
