First registered 19 December 1960 in Portsmouth where it spent most of its early life in the South of England. Owned by me for 3 years and %100 reliable.
Is still on its original fully transferable original registration plates (comes with buff log book containing all the original details and purchase prices etc), original engine and chassis as stated in the Buff log books, loads of old paperwork such as Villiers engine manuals, old parts lists and some spares such as front number plates, sprocket, gear lever and some rare as hens teeth original Greeves lower rubber mudguards still in their wrapping.
Completely original D shaped fully working speedo showing 989 miles.
Also comes with a box full of old leading link magazines which are a valuable source of information for the Greeves.
Plenty of old MOT`s, Last MOT ran out in August 2018 and I haven't had her on the road since. Started her last week after 3 kicks she was away.
In lovely order throughout, starts really easy even when left for months. Once warmed up starts first kick all day long.
I fitted new NJB shocks last year to give a bit more clearance at the rear, there is also a nice little steel tubed rack on the rear underneath my wicker top box.
Bike is currently in road trim and has been all my ownership. Used very occasionally for the odd 10 mile trip to my previous place of work and the odd trip on the back roads around North Yorkshire, gets up to 55mph easily enough and keeps up with traffic. It is a lovely little bike on the back roads, light as a feather and you steer with your eyes and nothing else , engine is great and sounds lovely, once warm ticks over nice and steady.
