Your looking at my beautiful car Lucy, which I’m reluctantly selling, consider it an amicable divorce. We have had a good near 10 years together, but I’ve fallen a bit out of love and ran off with a younger model, my Triumph Bonneville.
She was my every day car, which goes to show how reliable she’s been, taking me to and from work most days until about 2 years ago when I got my motorbike license. Combine this with having a kid and now about to move house, she doesn’t have the life she deserves and I would love to see her go to a good home. I don’t have to sell her so it's about waiting for the right person, so only serious customers welcome please, no silly offers.
MK1 cavaliers were once widespread in the 1970/80s and now I’m told she’s only one of 300, so she gets a lot of interest from passers-by. However I’ve never had a problem finding parts as a lot of Opel parts are the same.
She has just passed her MOT (first time), 2lt engine with a Webber carburettor now about 4 years old, shes nippy, lots of power. Looks wise shes in good condition, usual spots of minor wear and tear but a bonus I have spare parts, including two sort after front wings, which I planned to replace if any rust ever got too bad.
