Above advertised is my Mazda Rx7 FB or SA22C.
I've owned the car for 2 and a bit years, and loved every moment... I am now in a different situation to what I was 3 months ago, which means I can't really afford to own the car.
This RX7 is from the final year of production and comes with the 12A engine. Mechanically, the drivetrain seems very strong. I haven't had the rotors compression tested but it starts first time when hot (every time), has never overheated or even crept up temp-wise, nor does it misfire. the gearbox is very good, although the syncro in third does make itself known if you shift at the wrong RPM.
The interior is in very good condition, everything is there and in good nick cosmetically. I am currently replacing the passenger window up/down switch as it stopped working - no relays in the circuit!
The bodywork is unfortunately the let down on the car, there are a few areas of rust, including the arches, localised areas on the roof and passanger door (at the bottom, and the paint in areas isn't the best. It's unfortunate given the good condition of the engine etc.
Underneath seems very good - seems to have been undercoated by a previous owner.
It has disc brakes all around, a nice feature for the model year.
What would I change if I had the money/time?
I would change the pulley system for a toothed one, they currently slacken off and get a bit squeaky in high RPM - I have the kit for this, you can have it. It has a (I believe) Japspeed exhaust, and for me it's a bit bass-y.
The car will come with 12 months MOT. last year's just ran out. as soon as anyone shows interest I will put some insurance on it and get it MOT'd.
If you'd like to view or have additional photos, I welcome it, just shoot me a text or email.
I'm not really sure what the car's worth so I'm open to genuine offers.
