1970 Plymouth Satellite 440 V8 Dodge Roadrunner For Sale
Hello up for sale is my stunning 1970 Plymouth Satellite/Roadrunner tribute.
The car is in very good condition throughout, details are as follows.......
The car has been in the UK around 3 years and was imported from Georgia.
440 big block V8 , runs superb with plenty of power and moves pretty agile for such a big car, it always starts easily, hot or cold, recently did an oil, filter and spark plug change, also fitted new valve cover gaskets and ignition coil, always behaves well in heavy traffic and hardly ever moves above 180.
Mileage reads 55,444 , can't say for sure if that's genuine or not.
4 Barrel Holley Carb.
Edelbrock Performer Intake.
3.5 Inch Flowmaster exhaust system, sounds amazing, and it gets even louder if required as it has electric exhaust cutouts fitted so with the flick of a switch you can open up the valves and run in full race mode open headers, lots of fun and extremely loud.
727 Torqueflight 3 speed Automatic transmission, shifts perfect with no issues, recently fitted a Lokar kickdown cable conversion.
15" Centerline Auto Drag wheels in good condition.
275/60/15's Cooper Cobras on the rear and 235/60/15 Cooper Cobras on the front, all tyres have good tread on them.
Recently fitted new uprated shocks.
Bodywork is in very good condition with no rust bubbling or anything that I can see
Paint is good overall but not perfect, there are a few small marks and a couple of chips that have been touched up but overall looks very nice, would benefit from a machine polish as it looks a bit flat in places, but as long as you're not expecting a show Queen I don't think you'll be disappointed in it's condition, anyone seriously interested I would expect to view anyway and judge for yourself as everyone's opinion is different.
All chrome and stainless pretty good.
Glass all good, windows all wind up and down as they should.
Underneath is all very solid and no rust that I can see, again I expect anyone seriously interested to check for themselves anyway when coming to view.
Boot floor looks all pretty solid.
Interior is very good.
Car still has the vin tag, fender tag and door sticker all in place.
V5 present and in my name.
Only bad points worth mentioning...
Rear armrests are missing for the back seats.
When hot, occasionally the exhaust is touching the lower tie bar causing a slight noise, i'm currently looking into to way to sort this.
So to conclude, although not a concourse show car it is in very good condition throughout and is ready to go just in time for the summer shows, the attention the car gets when out driving is unbelievable.
Please see below for a short video of the car.

Viewings welcome but please only come to view if you're serious about buying the car.
