Chassis number: TT32093 - originally registered as PYB91 in Somerset on June 1st 1953. The Mayflower was announced and displayed for the first time on 28 September 1949, the first day of the Earls Court Motor Show although deliveries did not commence until the middle of 1950. The body was designed at ‘Mulliners of Birmingham’ and were built by ‘Fisher and Ludlow’ at Castle Bromwich, Birmingham. A new Mayflower was available with only a few ‘optional extras’ which was limited to, a heater, a radio, and a choice of either leather seats or, for £5 less ‘Vynalide’ with a selling price of £473.10s.
