1977 Superb MGB - on the button and a joy For Sale
Registered on the last day of 1977, this MG would have left the Abingdon factory with rubber bumpers. It was subject to major overhaul and a chrome bumper conversion some 20 years ago and remains in fantastic condition. Since then it has seen busy times and quiet times, from European tours on the one hand, to minimal clocked up mileage between MOTs on the other. It flew through it’s latest MOT with zero advisories. The car is on the button, it drives superbly, being quick and responsive, the overdrive enhances the driving fun and the engine oil pressure is rudely healthy at 70PSI. Sitting on its Minilite replica alloy wheels, the car turns heads and gains admiring looks and comments wherever it goes. To say the car has been subject to the most comprehensive braking system overhaul possible is no exaggeration. Everything has been renewed, complimented with updated discs, Green Stuff brake pads and braided brake hoses. Recent work has seen a new water pump fitted, new engine mountings, new steering rack gaiters and track rod ends. Any genuine buyer looking for a spot on MGB will recognise the quality of this one and snap it up.
