Jaguar E-Type 1970 FHC S2 - the rarest of them all For Sale

This car is an original RHD British Market FHC (not the less desirable 2+2),manual gearbox and factory fitted sunroof with matching numbers, It has a Jaguar Heritage Certificate which confirms its authenticity. The Series 2 FHC is the rarest of all production e-types. Only 4,855 S2 FHC's were ever made and the many of those were for the US market. The Series 2 4.2 e-type is renowned as a superior driving experience to all others and a British market example such as this is the one of the more desirable versions of all e-types. I am a collector NOT a dealer. The car has been kept in perfect conditions in a secure professional storage for all the time I have had it and enjoys regular usage. I have looked after this car with no expense spared but the time has come for me to sell 3 of my 7 cars in my collection so I can invest in my new business. I will be reluctant to see it go. In stunning condition this is probably the best S2 e-type out there. Bought by me from e-type specialist Graham Bull at Camberley Marine in 2012 it has been meticulously looked after and has two boxes of invoices with MOT certificates going back decades. It has had two restorations, a full 'engine out' restoration completed in 2000 (photographed) and an internal restoration with new leather completed in early 2012. It sits on stainless steel wire wheels (they look like chrome but do not rust like chrome!) and has been regularly serviced and maintained with no expense spared. The car drives flawlessly and has been on trips to France without any issues at all. It has had an interesting history with a previous owner being the England cricketer Graham Fowler. The car comes with its own Jaguar badged indoor/outdoor car cover worth over £300. It has a very unique number plate WOW 123J worth over £2,500 which will come with the car. I am happy to drive/deliver the car to anywhere in the UK or Continental Europe for a reasonable cost.
