A very reluctant sale but she must go and is priced to sell NO TIME WASTERS ANY INSPECTION WELCOME. 1972 Rover P6 sc (single carb) in Corsica blue with mot till late September 2019 BUT doesn't need one by law but i feel it best as it shows how good the car is for the road. with only One former lady owner from NEW with the best service/maintenance record i have ever seen i will try to list the main points as there is too much to list .
1/ One former lady owner from new till march 2019 now showing one on the V5 me)
2/ Bill of sale from 1972 when she obtained the car from the main dealership .
3/ most of the the service records carried out in her life (lots of main dealer) and maintenance invoices/service books from new for all work carried out in the form of stamped in wallets (two books full) and or invoices to back this up as well plus more invoice to show its history and any repairs.
4/lots of old mots /booklets service wallets/old tax discs /two set of keys (3 in each set ignition/doors/fuel )
5/ four x matching tryes Uniroyal rallye all with chrome hub caps all good and new spare in boot .jack/tool kit present .
6/Leather seats with rear arm rest and front seat belts. door cards/headlining/carpets/glass all good but seat will need a clean/feed but no rips etc and in good order in my mind very nice.
7/ radio with instructions and fully working /very good exhausted been replaced with invoices
8/ nice paint work with some repairs carry out back in 2008 with invoices for over £4000 at a classic body specialist with detailed invoices new front wings and valance also repair to rear floor in the boot area a (very good job) as stated as an advisory on the mot in the same year and all four door bottoms also other repairs carried out at some point in the life.
9/ last service etc /mot carried out in late September 2018 at 85,698 mile and now at 85,724 miles only with invoice for over £500 `(only done 26 miles since then)
10/ invoices/bills etc add up to over £11.000 spend on the car to date.
11/ written valuation carried out back in April 2013 at £5.500 and has only done over 100 mile since the (valuation report done by Byrnes Auctioneers and Valuers Chester 2nd April 2013 with a report and photos ) but still moted and services every year since last was September 2018 and not due to late September 2019.
12/ known faults fuel gauge not working (could be just a wire and the brakes are very soft seems of lost some fluid and it seems to be coming from the rear could be just a pipe/seal or the very worse a brake caliper needs replacing i haven't look into the two faults so could be an easy fix ? should be much as it was OK on the last mot in September 2018.
This is a very good car with fantastic service/maintenance records with only one former lady owner until 1st march 2019 then me all backed up with most of its invoices/bills from new and bill of sale/service wallet/hand books you will find it hard to get another one with this amount of paper work/invoice from new with low ownership.
PLEASE NOTE the car is showing some wear/tear to bottom of all four doors which have been repaired in the past (old repair 2008) paint work is fine just has blistering/blowing to bottoms only it was my intention to re-skin all four doors or find good replacements and do the job next winter but still look presentable as is in my mind .. also old repair 2008 to rear boot top corner/top and of rear wing looks OK but no a total match but no rusty just the paint easy job to correct . only selling due to my circumstances at the present moment and it a shame for it not to get used as the car is ready to use just need to sort the brake fuel leak at the rear and fuel gauge and insurance and away you go due to been standing since last mot the car will need a a check over before putting it on the road IE fluid levels /brakes etc etc due to been standing like all old cars you will need to keep on top of the maintenance and you can sort out the doors bottoms next winter unless you have the door already then you will have a tip top car with excellent history and low ownership car is in Abergele north wales LL22 and is ready to go and cash on collection no time wasters please or cant hold it for months just need gone with no hassle please.
if you need more info i will try my best to answer them BUT no time wasters please.
Unique Rover 3500 P6 total rebuilt by RR CLASSIC. Rover 3.9ltr engine with Edelbrock/Weber. Original (new old stock) Abarth exhaust especially made for Rover 3500V8 with stunning sound. LT77 5-speed.....
This car was a barn find about 12 years ago which was the last time it was driven. The condition is very honest but a total rebuild would make it a concours winner.
History unknown but is an Australian.....
