We would like to offer for sale this 1967 Ford Mustang project. She is a 289 V8 auto finished in Acapulco blue with matching blue interior.
As can be seen in the images the interior trim is in a good usable condition – all that needs replacing is the dash pad that has become misshapen due to the strong sun in Texas which is where she originates from.
She sits on multi-spoke alloys we also have the fourth one that is not on the car but was taken off due to a flat tire.
The underside is in very good condition; the floors have never been repaired or welded and are original as are all torque boxes, trunk drop off panels and rear inner and outer wheel housings – in fact, the underside is completely original.
The engine bay is also in great condition and we can not find any rust.
The body itself is in good condition, however, we would recommend replacement of the hood due to someone sitting on it. The driver’s door requires small repairs to the lower edges the rest of the body is in good condition however the paint has faded and peeled but under that the sheet metal is fine.
She has been stood for some years with the engine heads removed. The heads have been rebuilt but due to the lower block being exposed the engine is now rusted frozen and will need looking at.
This is a great solid project car for a mechanic as there is little body work to undertake just a respray.
The car will come with a full UK V5C (log book) and with a UK registration number.
