Fantastic authentic Aston Martin DB6 Vantage with interesting history.
One of ca. 160 examples.
Original colour sheme, major parts first paint !
In 1965, this car was delivered to Finch Hill Motors Ltd..
A few months later, the renowned British motor-journalist John Bolster tested this very car in the October issue of “Autosport” magazine. Excited about its driving characteristics and the sensational high speed of 152 mph, Bolster came to the conclusion ,that the DB6 Vantage was the best Aston Martin that he has ever driven.
In the 80s, the car was restored by marque-specialists in the UK with big efforts, but preserving the first paint. The engine was also completely overhauled by Aston Martin themselves. Since then, just 33.017 miles were travelled.
In the year 2003, it was sold on to Germany, where it was part of a private collection since 2006.
Many services are recorded from the last years. The Aston Martin was serviced annually and convinces through originality, smooth engine running and charming patina.
