1965 Mercedes W111 Coupe CONCOURS condition For Sale
This 1965 Coupe has emerged from an 1,000 hour restoration and is quite simply mesmerising. Painted in Tunis Beige over Bronze Metallic complemented by black leather and perfect Maccasar wood trim.
Works were carried out by - details above who are known throughout Europe for their work on rare Mercedes in particular the 600.
Firstly, stripped to a bare shell, after which 250 hours of metal work brought the structure and body to a point of having no remaining corrosion. Secondly a 300 hour bare metal repaint to include Epoxy, primer, colour and lacquer and 60 hours of final finish buffing.
Mechanically, benefiting for a full engine rebuild including new pistons and a fuel injection pump that was rebuild by Bosch in Germany.
All interior woods was painstakingly veneered where necessary and lacquered. All seats were returned to Germany to be restored and trimmed and new carpets throughout.
This 1963 Mercedes-Benz 220SE Cabriolet is an excellent original car that could use minor cosmetics. Black with tan interior and a manual gearbox. Mechanically sound. The bumpers need to be re-chromed.....
