Chassis number: MD43463 - Manufactured in 1953, this example we are informed was in the Korean war and came to the UK in the early 1970's, it was purchased by the current owner and vendor nearly 2 years ago after the previous owner of many years passed away. The current owner fully stripped and sand blasted everything, before painting it in the US Army Olive Drab paint. it has the weather gear and the rear gun turret, which can be bolted in place if preferred. The M38-A1 / MD was the second post-war evolution of the World War II Willys MB jeep, and we are informed the first Willys Jeep to feature the updated styling of rounded front wings and bonnet that would become the distinguishing body style of the later versions which remained for many years. Recorded on the total loss register, the owner has informed us it was involved in a collision in September 2018 which sustained minor damage to the rear quarter and has since been fully repaired.
