Ducati 900ss 1989 Very Low Miles, 2400 mls. Regretful sale of my Ducati 900SS due to reducing the collection of my current bikes, I will be listing two of my Ducati 750 Sports soon.. you are welcome to ask regarding these if interested.
I purchased this 900ss over 12 months ago with a view to keeping it forever, the only other low mileage one available previously was a nice low mileage 900SS but this was at a specialist in Australia with a hefty price tag of around £12000, I was tempted but.....
The bike had a full service at a Specialist last year, as well as the service I had a new set of Pirelli Diablo Rosso’s fitted together with a new quality chain, both of these didn’t require changing as far as wear was concerned but as a age related safety measure.
The standard forks on the 88-90 900ss are the Marzocchi M1B which offer little in the way of adjustment, so these forks are now fitted with the Sports Motorcycles (New Zealand) Sports Valve which really does transform these forks when setup correctly, this work together with setting up was carried out at Reactive suspension.
You will have noticed that some period decals are fitted, I put these on over the winter, they are not covering any paint damage etc and can be easily removed.
All in all a really nice rare bike which can only appreciate in years to come.
