This is an absolutely gorgeous example of a Morris Minor Two Seater and certainly the best currently for sale.
It was restored approximately twelve years ago to an extremely high standard and with great attention to detail. Following a period as part of a collection and subsequent death of the then owner it has since been fettled with great care to bring it right up to scratch.
Being an early 1934 car, it retains the 1933 style radiator shell but also has hydraulic brakes and a four speed synchromesh gearbox, making the car much easier to drive.
The upholstery is leather (correct for a 1934 Minor) and is very well done. The hood and sidescreens are in heavy duty vinyl which is very practical and durable. The sidescreens are articulated at the back, as they should be, which is a very useful touch.
Recent work includes a distributor rebuild by the Distributor Doctor and the fitment of discreet direction indicators.
Under the bonnet everything is beautifully presented.
The last owner, a joiner by trade, made the very neat luggage trunk which fits over the luggage rack and also fitted the aluminium clamshell tailpipe – a nice period accessory.
The car comes with V5C, a buff log book dating from 1958 and a copy of the Morris Register Manual and Parts List.
I cannot stress enough how absolutely lovely this car is and if you are looking for a small pre war car to enjoy this summer you will struggle to find anything as good as this.
We are happy to consider interesting part exchanges.
