Model Nuovo Falcone 500 Militare
The Nuovo Falcone was born at the end of the sixties at the request of the army, for which a less expensive and demanding motorcycle to handle than the V7 was needed. Presented at the 1969 Milan Motor Show in the military version, in 1971 the civil version was marketed, which differed from the one already on the market for the most modern and streamlined lines, the instrumentation, the front light, the silencer and the dynamo for starting. In 1974 the New Civil Falcone was revised, adopting new colours, and the Nuovo Falcone Sahara was presented, that is the military model with a different colour (sand frame and black silencers). The production of the last single-cylinder horizontal Guzzi ceased in 1976, with 13,400 units produced in the military version (including the Sahara) and 2,874 civilians. One of the features that make the Nuovo Falcone most appreciated is its constructive simplicity, which allows its maintenance even by the less expert mechanics. It was adopted by various public bodies, such as the Carabinieri, traffic wardens, firefighters, Bersaglieri, Guardia di Finanza and other military bodies. This beautifully presented Nuovo Falcone 500 has enjoyed much attention in the current ownership, and is ready to be ridden and enjoyed by its next owner.
