1935 Austin 10 Sherborne Shipped in from Africa in 2002 For Sale
The Austin Ten motor car has been with us just short of 100 years, when it will deservedly gain antique status. This particular Saloon is a mere 84 years old and remains as much a delight as always. Clearly restoration has been carried out in the past and the Brown & Black paintwork is in good order as well as the chrome work the interior will need definitely need a good valet/clean and a bit of refurbishment if you so desired. The cars had been shipped in from Africa in 2002 and have been stored in a unit away from the elements and we have just moved them to our workshop to get the car up and running again. Then it should be ready for a run to the pub by Sunday lunchtime, with just a little fettling
The motor car is part of a private collection, The cars have not been registered in the UK since being shipped but after looking into them it is only a formality to get it on the road again, all import duties have been paid and we have all the shipping and the registration certificates from Africa. The car was shipped from Africa and stored by the owner who has had no real interest in them, so its better to dust them off and get them on the road again for everyone to see.
The details from the car are below:
• Year of registration 1935
• Engine Number 1G85809
• VIN GRK124035392
• Miles on the clock 16662
