Lancia Flaminia 2.8 3C GTL - Superleggera bodied by Touring of Milan
Absolutely stunning Lancia Flaminia 3C GTL. With only 300 examples made, this is the rarest and most powerful evolution of the Lancia Flaminia GT. Completely rebuilt and refurbished by its long term American owners, the cars condition can only be described as superb. Driving faultlessly and creating huge interest at events, including the Goodwood Revival - where it featured in the ‘Best in Show’ top ten judged by Sir. Stirling Moss.
Its full alloy 2.8 litre V6 engine is fed by 3 twin-choke Weber carburettors and will produce over 150 hp, which in period resulted in a top speed of 193 km/h.
With its Superleggera aluminium body built by Touring of Milan, this really is a beautiful creation and shouts out 1960’s luxury touring car. The body on this car is in an excellent condition having been completely restored a few years ago whilst in ownership in the USA. There is a comprehensive file of works carried out including many bills from Lancia specialists Omicron for thousands of pounds.
Comparable to many significantly more expensive 1960’s Superleggera bodied cars and very comfortable in company with Aston Martin’s from the period. This car represents a very desirable investment that is completely usable and ready to be enjoyed by a new owner.
Part exchange possible on 1960’s Alfa GTV/Junior etc.
Part exchange considered with 1950’s or 1960’s Alfa Romeo.
Very rare Lancia Flaminia GT Touring 2.8 3 carbs, one of the 168 models built between 1963 and 1968.
Extraordinary unmolested conditions, always wonderfully taken care and maintained.
