1988 Mercedes-Benz 300SL (R107) Just 35,649 Miles #2076 For Sale
1988 Mercedes-Benz R107 300 SL
Signal Red (568) with Grey Leather (278) and Black Fabric Soft Top (9001)
Just 35,649 miles
This remarkable 300SL has been with the same family since it was just 6 months old.
The original purchaser carefully picked Signal Red with Grey Leather and Rear Seats, but then cancelled the order for reasons unknown. Enter the car’s first ‘proper’ owner, who had visited his local showroom intent on purchasing a Jaguar. After falling in love with the bright red SL, the deal was done and the car returned home with it’s new custodian – a family who would cherish this car from that moment on.
This car has been with the same family from just six months old until now.
Having always been used sparingly and kept in dry storage, it has seen very little use in recent years, and shows just a touch over 35,500 miles on the odometer.
Leather and Rear Seating were expensive options, and are desirable features of an any SL.
We have recommissioned this car and can confirm that it drives exactly as a 35,500 mile SL should.
Recent work includes new bushes, fluids, tyres and refurbished alloy wheels.
A superb opportunity to acquire a highly original late model 300SL.
