Lot 72 - A 1984 Yamaha RD350LC , registration number B888 JPK, frame number 206666, engine number 008578 , black. Introduced in 1980 at the Tokyo Show , the 250 and 350LCs marked the introduction of water cooling to the middleweight Yamaha range. The 350LC was capable of a top speed of 110mph and with its superior handling they could show a clean pair of heals to much larger and powerful machines in the right hands. They quickly acquired a bad boy reputation and became the must have machine for any aspiring boy racer. This home market 350LC has only covered 28,000 miles from new. It has formed part of a private collection since 2003. An extremely original machine with matching numbers which has seen little use in the current custodianship. The accompanying history file contains previous MOTs (last expired 2004), receipts and a workshop manual. Our vendor advises that the RD will be freshly MOT'd for the sale and is reluctantly being offered for auction so he can concentrate on other projects. V5C, MOT TBA
£6000-7000 + 13.2% buyer’s premium, with a minimum buyer’s premium of £96 (including 20% VAT)
