An exceptional Evo2, in Monza Red, that is structurally excellent with no trace of rust or repair work.
Bodywork is in fantastic condition, and mechanicals are all good/excellent, as everything that has needed to be done or replaced has been over my ownership.
I have always checked/maintained/protected the chassis and underneath of the car, as well as ensuring the underbonnet condition is really good.
Interior is generally excellent, with a lot of original trim/carpet and Alcantara. The seat bolsters were renewed when I bought the car, and I had protective covers for those made in the correct Alcantara, which have really preserved the condition.
I have owned the car since May 2012. It is a full Euro spec car although imported from Japan 7 years ago, hence the reason for the exceptional body/chassis condition. It was by far the best car of many I looked at at the time, and ownership since then has proved that to be the case.
There is a set of service records from its time in Japan, from 1997 to 2008, showing Km from 33000 to 76000. When I bought the car it was on 82000 Km , and now after 7 years with me its on 98000 Km, or 61000 miles.
The build date of June 1994 is confirmed by various markings on the car, as well as from the Fiat ePER website . First registration was in October of that year, making it one of the last Evo2's built. Chassis no. is ZLA831AB000585600.
This Evo2 is in absolutely standard spec, with things like an original and unblemished rear parcel shelf, correct trim, instruments, gearstick etc etc. The original tool roll, jack and brace are with the car. There is also an original owners manual.
Wheels and electrics are all excellent/good. The car starts on the button every time, and runs beautifully. The correct and original (date stamped 1994)16' wheels are fitted.
A set of 4 new Michelin Pilot Sport 3 tyres have just being fitted (Aug 2019), and the aircon is regassed and working. An oil and filter change was undertaken in July. The cam cover was powder coated in the correct red earlier this year.
Expenditure in my ownership is approx £6000, with key items being: Replacing front struts, repair ECU, new alternator, battery and starter motor, new discs, pads and water pump, Aircon upgrade and regas, repair sill covers, new rear silencer etc. The car has been regularly serviced and I have full records and bills for all expenditure in my ownership
Annual mileage in recent years is low as can be seen from the above, and the car has been cherished rather than having hard use.
A recent MOT is valid to 2nd August 2020.
