Lot 33 - A 1936 Talbot 75 sports special, registration number DGW 578, chassis number 2529, engine number 27, green over black. Roesch Talbot’s of the 1930s were quality engineered machines, featuring silky smooth six cylinder engines and body style to suit all tastes, from majestic saloons to sporting tourers, culminating in the highly successful 105 series cars. This charming 75 sports special, originally left the motor works clothed in a four door six light saloon body. Due to the ravages of time the 75 was rebuilt with a new body into the handsome tourer you see today, by a Mr Russel-Floyd approximately 20 years ago. Finished in green over black coachwork with a delightfully patinated green leather interior, DGW 578 has formed part of a small collection of vintage cars. Seeing little activity of late due to our vendors health issues this Talbot will be offered for auction with a history file containing correspondence from previous owners, technical information and periodicals. V5C, MOT and tax exempt
