The following information has been supplied by the vendor:
"A 12-month 'Nut and Bolt' Restoration of my 1978 Leyland Mini 1275 GT. With originality being the motivator. I have retained as many as the original components as practicably possible.
The Shell was stripped and then taken back to bare metal with any repairs undertaken using new Heritage Panels where required. The underside has been primed, stone chipped then painted in body colour to preserve the car for future custodians.
The car retains its original Engine and gearbox which have received a recommission service along with new oil seals.
Last on the road in 1996, this delightful and cheeky GT presented in the original, vibrant Vermillion red has only four former keepers having been with the last owner for some 37 years covering a mere 34,000 miles!
The interior is perfectly preserved with the original and correct brown 'Deckchair' material, three clock dash and leather-bound boomerang steering wheel.
A great opportunity to own an 'as new' Leyland Mini 1275 GT"
