Due to an unexpected opportunity I've just bought a Morgan Plus 8, which means my lovely GT has to make room. I've only had it a year and intended to keep it much longer so I did lots of work after buying it. Complete new suspension front and rear, large bore exhaust, carb overhaul, Clutch hydraulics (M/C and Slave and all pipework), discrete sound system. Bodywork is very solid indeed with no rot. The car drives perfectly has excellent oil pressure and stable temp.
Its not a show queen as it also has a few non standard mods, MGF seats, big bore exhaust ,motolita, etc, I built it to drive not to show.
Negatives are the headlining (I have a replacement), a few scuffs and dings here and there, and a tappet I can't quieten. Almost no written history with the car BUT I can supply details of the previous owner and he owned it for something like 20 years. (Very elderly chap who 'lost' the paperwork when he moved house)
Viewing is very welcome and I'm happy to take you for a drive at a mutually convenient time. I'm between Chester and Wrexham and available most days and evenings.
I've not advertised this anywhere else yet but will soon. Theres a little wiggle room on the price but I don't need the space or cash so I'm not desperate to sell. I'll only discuss money AFTER the car has been viewed in person.
A very nice MGB GT in the original color "British Racing Green". A beautiful car with overdrive. This MGB GT was delivered new in 1973 in the United States. Then the car in 1995 came to the Netherlands......
