This simply fantastic caterham super 7 was originally built in 1994, but then was totally stripped and rebuilt in 2006 using a new chassis built by Arch Motors, makers of the the 7 chassis and was finished by Ashley motorsport, renowned builders of lotus and race cars. The car has cover a mere 3k miles since the rebuild.
Finished in caterham yellow with cycle wings, All the original HPC parts remain, the interior, wheels, heater and de Dion rear set up. All the wheels have been refurbished with new tyres.
The engine on rebuild was replaced for a new HPE 2.0 Vauxhall, producing over 200bhp, through a type 9 5 speed box. The competition exhaust was replaced 18 months ago at the cost of £1200.
The car is beautiful, all weather gear is like new and I have all the paperwork for the car, showing it’s build.
Due to replacing the chassis, the dvla issued a “Q” plate, as it obviously wasn’t allowed it’s 1994 prefix and I have all the details of its previous “HPC” correct chassis number.
The car drives beautifully and has just passed an MOT with no advisories.
Age related plate examples are now making 17k plus, so this is a snip and definitely worth a look, you won’t be disappointed and they are an asset.
It’s ready to go....
Lots of photos of the underside if you wish to see them
