The car was originally a 'Sunrise Red' 2cv6 Special when it left the Levallois factory, but was completely restored onto a galvanised chassis in 2013, and fully converted to 'Charleston' specification (with the 'Club' dash, interior trim, and paintwork changed during the rebuild).
It has always been garaged since, and recently (April last year) had a full engine rebuild; completed by perhaps the most reputable 2cv specialist in the country, which included the upgrade to 652cc barrels and pistons, a re-ground cam (designed specifically for the upgrade), and a lightened flywheel fitted...resulting in overall improved torque, and the ability to maintain speed on hills. It also has a slightly beefier sound to it now, which is quite satisfying indeed!
The paintwork is excellent (it's been used daily apart from in the winter - but has always been kept clean and well-waxed/polished, hence the lovely shine!), the floors are spotless... ...it really has to been seen to be appreciated.
Plenty of stunning photos and service history/invoices of work done to the car will be included in the sale.
The car is advertised elsewhere so I reserve the right to end the listing at any time.
