A beautiful 1969 Daimler 250 V8 in unmarked Cyprus blue with navy blue Connolly leather upholstery, which has been re Connolised, and polished walnut dash, window, door surrounds and caps. The bodywork and chrome are in excellent condition, panel fit and door gaps are excellent. MOT 10-19. Mechanically it runs as smooth as silk with plenty of grunt from the 2,5 litre V8 engine and drives really well, starts on the button. This is a very pretty looking car, just be prepared to ask if pictures can be taken!
It has just had a major service Mar 2019, the wheels sand blasted and repainted, front valance repainted and brand new door seals and full polish costing £1055 - May 2019.
End 2018 full ignition overhaul and rewire. Recently a full brake system overhaul with the original calipers being refurbished, new hoses, pipes and master cylinder with an invoice for £2,500, including service and check over.

The Daimler 2.5 V8 was launched late in 1962. It was essentially a more luxuriously finished Jaguar 240 with a smoother more powerful 2.5-litre V8 Daimler engine and drive-train, a Daimler fluted grille and rear number plate surround, distinctive wheel trims, badges, and interior details including a split-bench front seat from the Jaguar Mark 1. Special interior and exterior colours were specified. Automatic transmission was standard. More than 17,600 units were sold; by 1995 the 250 was still the best-selling Daimler.
