Bought, had a disagreement with the Mrs and the interest in owning dwindled.
1992 4.0 Sovereign Auto
Just under 51k
New discs and pads on three corners. The fourth was bought but didn’t need replacing so comes with the sale.
Also has a spare set of wheels and tyres. (could do with a refurb but will be part of the sale). The tread on the spare set looks good too but haven’t had them on the car.
Everything works as it should - all electrics (windows, seats, aerial, lights, CD auto changer etc).
Tools kit is complete.
MOT April 2020 - 2 advisories, the brakes (dealt with as above) and slight steering rack leak. Previous owner’s mechanic advised a part just needed tightening up so presumed fixed - that’s what I was told.
HPI check carried out by myself with print off available.
Looks to have been under sealed at some point and no apparent rust in the usual places
It is however 27 years old so don’t be expecting showroom fresh - the being said I was planning to take it to shows and I can’t see it needing much to impress.
Paint is gorgeous - Kingfisher blue I believe.
Leather is almost perfect. It has been sat in but there are no rips etc.
I’ve had the carpet up on the boot and can’t find any rust there.
Good amount of past paperwork.
Previous owner was JEC member.
Haynes manual included.
I won’t be taking stupid offers and sorry, I won’t respond to “what’s the lowest you’ll go?” I’m not a dealer so if someone (preferably a Jag fan) turns up with a sensible offer it can go there and then.
I could do with passing it on soonish, I’m after a Jeep Grand Cherokee no later than 2005 with low miles if anyone has one that fancies a deal.
Feel free to drop me a line - if I don’t respond instantly apologies, work and family life are rather busy but I will respond.
Based South of Manchester just off the M60.
All serious and genuine offers will be entertained and responded to.
This is arguably the finest example of this UK built short wheel base ,manual 4.2 with overdrive 56500 miles it spent it's life in locked up garage This car was completely
overhauled from bare metal.....
