I HAVE RE-LISTED THE CAR DUE TO A COMPLETE TIME WASTER WHO CHASED ME FOR THE CAR AND RENEGED ON HIS PROMISE TO PAY A DEPOSIT.
First registered 19/08/58 in Oswestry Shropshire to Mr Glyn Humphreys and remained in his care until 1984. I have an old MOT from 1984 with a mileage of 24257. The car remained off the road before being sold again and parked up. In 2011 the car came into the hands of an Aston Martin enthusiast who, over several years, set about the restoration and in 2016 it was MOT’d and back on the road again with a mileage of 24720..
It was sold agin to his friend who, through lack of use, sold it to me.
The car was resprayed Tweed Grey both inside and the outer shell.
MG midget suspension and disc brakes fitted and seatbelts were also fitted for safety. I have lots of bills from the restoration. The engine was painted the standard green and a new midget unleaded cylinder head was added. All wheels powder coated. New master cylinder, brake lines, rewired, new radiator, new tyres, the spare still has its label on. Stainless steel exhaust and SU carb. New carpets roof lining and doorcards. Stainless front and rear bumpers with overiders..
New relief registration plates. There is more but since I have owned her I have replaced the rear oil seal at the back of the gearbox, quarter light rubber, replaced antifreeze and coolant and given the car a full service. Sadly the original buff log book has gone astray but I do have a photocopy of it and a DVLA record of its history along with some old photographs.
For peace of mind I had it safety checked at my local garage.
This is a lovely little car that has had lots of money and time to get her looking this good but sadly I have to let her go.
Here we have a lovely little A35 Van, running and driving. 948cc engine, nice interior, this is an ideal show vehicle or would make a fantastic promotional vehicle for your business. A sound investment!
Introduced in 1956, The Austin A35 came to replace the super successful Austin A30.
The name reflected the increased capacity of the in-line-four cylinder «A-Series» engine, which was also more powerful, pushing 54cv, allowing the A35 a slightly higher top speed and better acceleration than its .....
This lovely 1957 A35 has been modified to keep up with modern traffic, and is perfect for historic rallies, hill climbs, and track days. Conversion into an Academy Spec racer is possible with some further mods - although this would make it less suitable for the road.

Lots of recent work and parts. Runs well, recent 948 engine and box before I bought it. Paint is reasonable but very far from perfect (Stevie Wonder Spray Co on a bad day!). Flat Sills fitted by previous owner. Mini front seats. Stripes are removable if required. New powder coated early Midget Wheels .....
A reluctant sale. I have decided to put my beloved 1962 Austin A35 van on the market, in advance of a house move to go travelling. Rather than have it laid up in a garage gathering dust, I think it is best to give it a new owner so it can be used and enjoyed.
I purchased this van, also a reluctant .....
We are very pleased to offer this lovely Austin A35 Countryman. This example is a genuine AP5 chassis number countryman and not to be confused with the many converted vans on the market.
