Auctioneers Notes: This is a delightful example of a 60 year old Standard Ensign, finished in black with red leather interior, in those days heater and leather upholstery were extras. We do not have a lot of history of this car but we do have old MOT’s from April ’90, mileage 53,844 to 2011 mileage 59,347 which shows she has not covered many miles in the last 29 years. She has an old green log book and a current V5, which indicates that she has had 5 former keepers since 1959. With this car you get a number of original publications starting off with original sales catalogue, work shop manual, second edition, a bound spare part catalogue, accessories catalogue, practical hints to maintaining your car and instruction book. This Ensign is fitted with a 1.6 litre engine OHV and a floor 4-speed gear change. This super little car may be viewed by appointment.
