V8 Developments Ltd built (from a brand new range rover p38 long motor) 4.6litre cross bolted high compression 290bhp engine. Stage 3 big valve gas flowed heads. Kent 214 cam. Kent vernier timing gear. High rev lifters. Pocketed Pistons. Full engine balance. Eidelbrock/Weber 500 carburettor, heat insulation plate and port tuned and matched JWR inlet manifold.
AP uprated clutch.
All new ancillaries - starter, alternator, distributor, water and oil pumps etc.
(This engine is used/sold as a replacement for a TVR Griffith 500 - it has a similar power/torque output. It has a stronger bottom end - wide journal crank with 4 bolt mains caps and 10 bolt symmetric heads.)
Rebuilt LT77 5 speed gearbox.
Uprated water and oil cooling.
Engine ticks over at 850rpm and stays cool.
MGR stainless steel tubular exhaust manifolds and full stainless single pipe twin box exhaust system.
New fuel tank and uprated fuel pump.
HighSpec 4piston billet aluminium big brake kit with ventilated discs.
Goodrich hoses and copper brake lines.

2000miles with this engine/drive train/suspension - mostly dry MGOC/ MGCC runs and Le Mans classic last year.
