1994 For Sale, Rover RV8 For Sale
For sale: Rover RV8. Finished in Woodcote Green with beige interior. First registered in 01/01/94 this car was exported to Japan where it was well maintained by the first owner. In 2003 the car was imported into Australia where it was purchased by the previous owner. In 2007 it was brought to England. In 2010 it returned to Australia and was finally repatriated to England in 08/2012 all the time remaining under the same ownership. At this point the car was registered with the DVLA. The mileage when the car arrived in Australia was 8,725 kilometers/ 5,415 miles. The speedometer was changed in 2007 and the odometer reading is now 7,813 miles giving a total of 13,228 miles. This mileage does not include any driven between the time it was imported to Australia and the speedometer being changed in 2007. Therefore the total mileage is unknown, however the car remained under the same ownership during this period and we are assured that similar mileage was driven year on year as that since it was registered back in England. The car benefits from a recent respray which has restored the lustre of the paint which is now “sparkling”. The wheels have also been refurbished and overall the exterior condition is extremely good. The interior, in beige, is generally in very nice condition, with some minor wear as may be expected in a car of this age. The hood is similarly in good condition commensurate with the age of the car. The air conditioning is still installed and working. Some were removed to provide extra space in the passenger footwell. The MOT has just been renewed, the only issue being windscreen washers incorrectly aligned. The MOTs for the entire time it has been in England are available. The last service was carried out in May 2018 by Wey Classics Ltd of Woking. The car drives extremely well and will make a very leisurely long distance cruiser ideal for continental trips on uncrowded roads.
