Finished in metallic black with contrasting ivory leather and dark walnut veneer.
I've owned the car for a year and it's proven to be a wonderful vehicle to own.
It has covered a mere 105,000 miles during its lifetime and has been very reliable, owing to the legendary AJ6 engine and running gear.
Since taking ownership, I've had some maintenance work done to it, listed as follows:
- brand new rear discs and pads,
- brand new front coil springs,
- brand new centre catalytic converters,
- brand new right exhaust silencer,
- Pioneer head unit with aux/USB.
It's had a new MOT on the 22nd of May so the owner can drive the car away without any worries.
The engine and gearbox all perform faultlessly and the drive is very smooth and comfortable.
The tyres have plenty of tread depth remaining and the wheels are very tidy in appearance.
There are no knocks or bangs and the car drives quietly, as all good Jaguars ought to.
The headlining is nice tight and the seats have very minimal wear. Usually the driver's side bolster gets worn however as the pictures show, the interior is a very pleasant, clean and comfortable place to journey in.
The underside of the vehicle has also been waxoyled during my ownership. There are some minor patches of rust on the wings and near the windscreen however all cars of this era do suffer from this and none of the rust is structural, merely cosmetic.
The brakes perform as they should and the car stops in a straight line without suffering from any squeaks or binding.
Please view the photos and feel free to ask me any questions.
This is the second classic Jaguar I've owned and I'll be very sad to see it go, however a recent wedding and house move necessitates the sale of my pride and joy!
I've listed the sale for what I believe is a reasonable price for an appreciating classic.
This is arguably the finest example of this UK built short wheel base ,manual 4.2 with overdrive 56500 miles it spent it's life in locked up garage This car was completely
overhauled from bare metal.....
