This TVR 3000S was completed at the factory in July 1979 and is one of the last twenty five of this model made. It was not until 1984, that it was purchased by a HHC, whilst still unregistered. They sold and registered it later that year to its first registered owner. This is all documented by the TVRCC. It will be eligible for “Historic” tax and MOT free status in 2020. I am the fourth owner.
It has a known history that includes a very extensive rebuild in 2004 at HHC with a receipt for £17,000. It had a new double duck hood, a rebuilt windscreen, an engine rebuild, respray, and chassis and suspension works, etc, etc. It has also been fitted with the factory option Wolfrace wheels, roll over cage, inertia reel seat belts, electric fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator and a rear fog light (MOT requirement).
It has the standard Ford V6 3000cc engine with original tubular manifolds into a stainless exhaust system and tail pipes. All that belies its mileage reading of 94k.
This is a good car which receives favourable comments. It was displayed on the TVRCC Burghley timeline earlier this year. However, it is 40 years old and not perfect. It is only being sold to make garage room for a Turbo version
I am looking for sensible offers based on £19,500.
A rare opportunity to buy one of, I believe, less than 50 left out of 264 originally made - most of them having gone to the USA. This one is a very factory original example complete with T slot wheels.....
