Here we have a 1974 MGB GT with overdrive, I brought this for my wife as a present, since we have had it, I have fitted brand new seat foams, proper MG replacement seat covers, brand new carpets, brand new battery, points, condenser, have repaired offside rear wheel arch (welded not full of filler!!!), also near side inner seal been welded. The last owner spent a fortune on this car and I have all the receipts, plus good service history.
Running a little bit erratic, probably needs carbs cleaning, but can be driven. Very sound underneath, bodywork very tidy for year. I will be including in the sale, 3 good wire wheels. with the spare this makes 4 good wire wheels. Tyres all good, brakes good.
PLEASE NOTE: Interior heater fan needs fixing, could be fuse, don't know. Someone has fitted twin Webber carbs conversion to this car. The last owner fitted an electric power steering column, this needs wiring up, comes with control box, but I haven't a clue how to fit it!!! Can be used without as normal, but could be sorted by car electronics expert.
Car has been driven round block to test, overdrive works fine. I will include Haynes Workshop Manual in sale, spare paint in two pack, enough for whole respray.
Car must go as wife too nervous to drive it and we need space in garage. Fantastic opportunity to buy a real classic, shooting up in value. You don't need car tax or MOT as historic vehicle.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE: No silly offers, swaps, tyre kickers, timewasters, boy racers etc. Sorry, but no delivery, car can be viewed by arrangement just off Junction 46 of M4 in South Wales.
