We are delighted to present this stunning 1985 Daimler Double Six 5.3 HE with only 43k miles from new in the hands of just one owner. The First owner had the car from 1985-2018 covering a remarkable 41k miles while living in London and being maintained by the same dealer from new. Reputably having used the car more frequently driving to the south of France with her family. This car is remarkably original and the colour combination of Westminster blue over French blue leather interior is the perfect combination.
As you can see from the photos the exterior of this car presents beautifully. The rare Westminster blue paint is excellent and still holds a deep shine. All the shut lines are excellent and the body is remarkably straight. Underneath the car is much of the same story. The car wears all its original panels and has never been welded. All chromes and glass are excellent and scratch free. The original Kent alloy wheels still look really sharp and are distinctive Daimler V12.
As for the interior, the only word I can use is exceptional. The leather seats are mark free and the rear seats appear to never have been sat in. The wood finishings are also excellent. Surprisingly the original head cloth is like brand new and has never dropped. All carpets are excellent and the interior feels like a new car. This car also benefits from a fully functional sun roof.
Mechanically this car is absolutely spot on having just been majorly serviced by ourselves including a major brake rebuild. Having benefited from being maintained by main dealers and specialists from new the car had never wanted for anything in its life.
On the road the car performs beautifully. Having just driven 700 miles in this car I can confirm its epic to drive. The v12 just munches up the miles. The gearbox changes smoothly and when the car is kicked down its pulled extremely well.
Presented with all its original owners manuals, mots, service book and two sets of keys. This car is a stunning every day classic that turns heads wherever it goes. This has to be one of the lowest mileage best kept Daimler’s available making this car an excellent prospect for a collector or as an everyday classic.
