Built to a high standard
Here is a Mk1 Cortina that has been built to a high spec and has been used for classic racing, It has a 1760cc all steel crossflow which is running on twin 45s this car fires into life and the engine is so sharp and crisp and is paired to a BMW gearbox and is an epic car to drive
It has a Mass exhaust manifold as you can see in the pictures, Adjustable strut tops, All round Gaz Gold coil overs, Double anti roll bar and Lotus Cortina steering arms and steering box with Discs fitted all round as well, The s/s fuel tank is mounted inside the boot
The shell is rock solid and has never been welded underside, It has been raced so the body does have a small dent in the rear panel and in places the paint has cracked, Sat on Minilites with a set of Yokohama Tyres, But remember tit is not a show car it is a race car
Inside the pedal box has been floor mounted, There is a race seat and harness and if you wanted to race would have to be updated as would the cage but is fine for track days
Can be converted to a fast road car if you wanted the V5C it would have to be applied for
What a great opportunity you could not build this car to this spec from scratch for the askingprice, Alter it slightly for your own personal requirements and what a truly epic car you would have
