very presentable and usable rare 4 seater example.
last owner 20 years.
it is fitted with the ford 1600 engine of which according to morgan was replaced by them approximately 5 years ago and has had very little use since.
the engine starts instantly has great oil pressure and sounds really healthy. Gearbox and clutch again fine and the brakes are superb due to it having twin servos, i have driven it at some length and can say it is in fact a delight to drive. Only negative point is the rev counter is not working.
the very nice interior is predominantly original and has that lovely patina about it with the front and rear seats being trimmed in black leather.
the bodywork is very nice with just the odd minor edge chip and no sign of the usual wheel arch corrosion. Chassis and wood are all in excellent order.
under the bonnet also looks very original and tidy with everything present.
it is fitted with wire wheels which again look like they have had a fairly recent re finish or are new.
it has full weather equipment including 4 side screens, tonneau cover and hood bag.
it is also fitted with a luggage rack and badge bar.
this example also comes complete with its jack, knock off wheel spanner and copper hammer located under the bonnet.
it has obviously been garaged and only covered less than 1000 miles in the last few years.
this example has the added bonus of beingmot and tax exempt.
to sum up what a very practical model particularly if you are a family with kids or dogs, and a great way to own a piece of british motoring history, and is sure to put a smile on your face. These morgans have seen an increase in their values in recent times in fact new examples now are almost 100k making this a super investment opportunity.
