Originally supplied by Cyril Williams Aston Martin in Wolverhampton and registered on 14th May 1964.
This matching numbers UK RHD DB5 is in superb condition throughout and has benefited from extensive expenditure in recent years.
A full Body and chassis restoration has been carried out, as well as an engine rebuild at Alan Smith Aston specialists. This gorgeous car is finished in Georgian Silver.
Complete with its original logbook, a copy of the factory build sheet, a very rare original Instruction Book and a Heritage Certificate. The history file also includes extensive ownership and maintenance records.
Originally supplied in the UK, the car later spent some time in Milan where it was initially repainted red, before being reconditioned, repainted and displayed as part of a James Bond tour of Italy.
In 2012 the DB5 was imported back to the UK and in 2013 had a full engine rebuild and bare metal respray in Georgian Silver by Alan Smith Aston Martin Specialists (invoices for work carried out total over £35,000). There is also a photography library of both the engine rebuild body repaint in the history file.
Factory fitted equipment as listed on the factory build sheet includes :- Chrome roadwheels, Motorola radio, powered aerial, heated rear window, Dunlop RS5 Whitewall tyres, Selectaride shock absorbers, two Marshall fog lamps, triple SU HD8 carburettors.
Further works followed at Aston specialists and this lovely Aston appeared at the 2013 Regent Motor Show London and the AMOC Concours at Hampton Court Palace in 2014.
