Matching numbers car -Chassis number 041148, Engine Number 0009916
First registered June 1972 by supplying dealer Autorimessa Crivellari, Venice, Italy. This car has very low ownership. Prior to the car arriving in the UK in 2015 and gracing our private collection it has continuous ownership history of just two Viennese Owners and one Austrian from new.
Fully matching numbers, every single ID number on the car cross-refers to the factory records, confirming the original engine, gearbox and diff housing, body, and chassis frame. The car retains its original factory Cromodora Light Alloy 14” wheels.
The car underwent a full and extensive restoration circa 2014. The quality of restoration is exceptional, the attention to detail, depth and correctness of the restoration on this car is of a very high standard. All the Dino body areas most vulnerable to rust such as sills, doors and wings “A” posts rear valance and wheel arches have been cut out and let-in not just with new metal but to the factory original profiles and shapes. This is surprising unusual. The structure and underside of this car presents as beautifully as the rest of the car in terms of preparation and finish.
Includes an original “Dino” embossed leather handbook pack in excellent condition, with correct patina for carefully stored 40 year old items. The original chassis number specific factory warranty card valuable in its own right.
Parts still present and in superb condition including the original “Durno” wiper blades and vinyl interior as well and the yellow spare wheel chock.
In addition to the above, the car has undergone Ferrari “Classiche” certification which it passed with flying colours, giving any perspective buyers piece of mind that the car has had Ferrari`s official seal of approval.
