BSA 1928 flat tank 250cc side valve For Sale

Welcome to my sale of a BSA B Deluxe 250cc 3 speed manual Video of the bike running here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cfLD8adlPfw uploaded 07/08/19 A rare chance to purchase a complete BSA from 1928 in original unmolested oily rag condition. When I say complete I mean COMPLETE! everything is there to use as is or restore as new. It has matching 1928 Engine and frame numbers in accordance with the BSA owner club listings (I have the paperwork to confirm this), but for some reason it wasn't registered until 1970 (paperwork probably lost during the war years), hence the very unique and lovely registration UKK 1H. (maybe worth getting an age related 1928 plate and selling this one on, but to be honest it forms part of its history so would be a shame to separate them now). I would leave this process up to the new owner. I have ridden over 100's of miles on this little lady and I can say she pulls great with fabulous brakes (considering they are drums), the 3 speed manual hand change is spot on and holds each gear without jumping out at all, the ride is quite comfortable with a rigid frame and girder forks. The paint is gorgeous on the tank (a bit crackled around the petrol cap area), mudguards and frame (not unmarked but more than acceptable for a 91 year old machine) tyres have lots of tread wheels have rust but I wiped with an oily rag and they look spot on headlamp, rear lamp and acetylene generator are complete and are worth a fortune alone (not connected with hose but everything else there) handlebars and levers are nickel plated and all work as they should oil pump and drip sight glass are functioning and working as they should saddle in tip top condition Kick start return spring sadly broken so trying to find a replacement (i have one on order as the last one i bought was too big). I am looking for a Japanese bike from 1970s or a newer Kawazaki Z900RS if you have one to swap/part ex. Feel free to view, the bike is in Wakefield, West Yorkshire 07908 113080 Jason to arrange. You will not be disappointed, Unless you miss it!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cfLD8adlPfw
