I'm selling my very lovely Wolseley 1500 'Elvis' (see his original reg plate!).
Having recently finished restoring my classic campervan, I've realised that sadly I won't be using Elvis as much, and he really does deserve to be seen :-) So it's time for him to make someone else happy!
Just over 85,000 on the clock. Starts and runs like a dream. Original blue leather upholstery, which I've never wanted to change. First registered 1962. MOT and Tax exempt. 1499cc petrol engine - uses unleaded.
I put him on the ramp a couple of weeks ago at the garage that looks after my classics, and the owner gave him a once over, with his overall view being that he's "a good little car"!
The engine is in good order, with a clean distributor, and benefits from having an alternator rather than a dynamo. It doesn't lose oil or water.
The inspection revealed a small hole in the exhaust middle box, so that will need to be repaired.
The two side / front panels (over the wheel arches) are fibreglass replacements. The paintwork is in pretty good condition, though there is a little discolouration on the roof. But he polishes up a treat, and is ready to be on the road!
Based in North East London E11. Feel free to ask any questions. Thanks :-)
